Boomerang Bikes operates Automatic Bike Hire Station in Nelson Bay. It’s a great way to get around the Nelson Bay area and explore the beaches, parks and bikeways. The stations offer high quality, reasonably priced and convenient bike hire 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a self-serve bike vending machine that requires a credit card to unlock a bike.

Insert your Credit card and decide which bike you require and for how long, select bike Number wait for card validation , go directly to bike and push in then pull out to release the bike. Repeat the process for next bike. Return your bicycle to the same Station, they are open 24 hrs a day. (card will be debited)

A central computer server tracks each Spinway bicycle through RFID technology. The station has 8 unisex adult bikes, 2 with child seats and 6 with Baskets. Riders need to be minimum 150cm tall. Helmets and bike locks from The Ice Creamery or Cafe next door.
