Roy Wood Reserve in Corlette is a park and beach that has a very special, and tranquil environment. You will fall in love with the sunsets from here and find it the ideal place for the kids to play while you BBQ. There are parking, toilets, showers and great BBQ’s with lots of tables. There is no swell at this beach and the tide can go out exposing a wet sandy beach ready for a pipi search.

The large grassy area then white sand is beautiful and the back drop of little sail boats gently swaying on their mooring make this beach the perfect place to relax. Take a stroll from hear along the beach towards Nelson Bay and you can walk around the headland to the anchorage. You can keep walking along the foreshore, and tree lined paths all the way to Little Beach. It’s a long walk but there is plenty a swimming spots to cool off, or cafes to stop at and put your feet up along the way!
